Pronghorn resting in the grass

This beautiful pronghorn is a new mother to the tiniest fawn and she is one of the lucky girls because she has a very attentive man staying by her side.  I have seen only a few pronghorn families, with mom and dad and the norm is that the females generally hang together.  This gal’s buck will barely leave her side.  Will share more images later.

Burned myself pretty bad with hot grease tonight – trying to do too much and run too fast to get it all done – and so am doing just a quick post.  I’ve got splatter burns all over my neck, cheek and chin and it isn’t very pretty.  And, I am picking up an essay winner tomorrow morning to need to be up and out of here in 4 hours.  Yikes!

  1. I know your easy winner will enjoy herself. Now you take care of yourself. Sounds like you need to slow down.

The pronghorn is beautiful and so is your story.
