I’m still spending my days chasing ospreys trying to get a shot of one catching a fish. I changed locations today and saw two ospreys catch a fish (I missed one and did a poor job on the second one) and saw two other ospreys carrying fish, so more activity anyway. My new location is in Paradise Valley north of the park.

I love Paradise Valley. Today I found myself getting distracted by the mountains. When I first got to my new filming spot the tops of the mountains were covered in clouds but I knew there was fresh snow under there from two nights ago. After about 4 hours the clouds finally went north. I had a long lens on my movie camera so I got my iPhone out and took a picture of the mountains.
On the way back home I saw three bald eagles in Yankee Jim Canyon. One was down by the river getting a drink. I missed getting a photo of him but I got this one in a pine tree.

I hope that your new location works out today! What a gorgeous view of the mountains.
