I don’t know if this really belongs here but Happy Halloween to everyone!!! My husband Verne’s favorite holiday. He carved the pumpkin and took the photo.

Halloween is fun and that is a very nice carving and photo. I enjoy the trick or treating of the little kids. One little girl came to my door with her father and my husband offered her different types of chocolate. One amusing piece to her was the chocolate covered in an eyeball foil wrapper. She looks up at her father and says, ” We don’t eat eyeballs.” My husband says, “Shrek does.” She didn’t take the eyeball wrapped chocolate. She chose something more edible.
I also love the change in the weather, crisp cool mornings here in Texas when I open my door and let the cool air in enjoying my cup of coffee and The Yellowstone Daily morning read. Thank you all for your beautiful photos and stories.
Cute story Barbara! We live in Texas too. We are hardly ever there but we do have some land and a house there.
I love this and it absolutely belongs. We should celebrate all holidays on YD!
