Wanted to mention a few happenings in Yellowstone.
There is a bison carcass at Boulder in Little America and there have been grizzlies and wolves at the carcass.
There is a second carcass in Little America, near Crystal, and I have only seen ravens at that carcass – not sure any predators have found this one as it is only a few days old.
Scarface was seen walking east in Lamar Valley – last seen around the confluence.
Another grizzly was seen in Soda Butte Valley
A coyote and badger hunting team were seen east of the ranch on the north side of the road.
Big Grey crossed to the den near Soda Butte cone while Spitfire crossed to the other side near Trout Lake. One puppy was seen by a crowd, for just a second tonight while 5 were seen by one man earlier in the evening. The puppies were playing and he says it could have been 6 puppies but he wasn’t sure. With so many blacks it is hard to tell.
911 and the black female headed out Cache Creek.
JB, the JB yearling male was back with the family for a count of 11 and a lot of activity.
